Research

Throughout 2008 spring and summer, we have carried out the Technical Assistance for the Monitoring of the European Petrel Hydrobates pelagicus in Cantabria, financed by the Council of Countryside Development, Ranching, Fishing and Biodiversity of the Government of Cantabria, whose main objectives have been to update the potential area of distribution of this endangered species in the region of Cantabria, to monitor the colony of the islet of Mouro and to perform preventive measures on extermination of rodents in the coastal islets potentially available for the species

Since 2006, we collaborate with the Department of Science and Water Technology and Environment of the University of Cantabria in the quarterly sampling of water quality in the Estuary of Ason River.
